Reviewers Guidelines

All papers submitted to J-TETA (Jurnal Teknik Terapan) undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure academic quality, alignment with the journal's scope, and scientific novelty.
 
Reviewer Responsibilities
  • Objective Evaluation: Read and evaluate the scientific quality and suitability of the manuscript for publication.
  • Constructive Feedback: Provide honest, impartial, and constructive comments to help authors improve their manuscript without discouraging them.
Before Agreeing to Review
  • Expertise: Ensure the manuscript aligns with your field of expertise by checking the abstract through your J-TETA account.
  • Time Commitment: Complete the review within the 3-week timeframe. Inform the editor immediately if you cannot meet this deadline.
  • Conflict of Interest: Promptly recuse yourself if there is any conflict of interest that might compromise your impartiality.
Reviewer Ethics
  • Confidentiality: Treat all manuscripts and correspondence as strictly confidential before, during, and after publication.
  • Integrity: Maintain the double-blind review process by not contacting the authors under any circumstances.
  • Objectivity: Evaluate fairly and honestly. Do not use any information from the unpublished manuscript for personal research advancement.
Process & Evaluation Criteria
    • Online System: All reviews are conducted through the J-TETA online submission system. Reviewers can upload anonymous comments directly onto the manuscript file.
    • Key Evaluation Aspects:
      • Relevance to J-TETA’s scope and originality (novelty) of the research.
      • Clarity of methodology, data completeness, and significance of the results.
      • Appropriateness of the title, discussion depth, and citation accuracy.
      • Language clarity, adherence to formatting guidelines, and correct scientific nomenclature.
    • Ethical Concerns: Reviewers must immediately notify the editor if they detect signs of plagiarism, redundant publication, or data fabrication.
